My career as a canine behaviorist and trainer

Animals, and dogs in particular, have always been a passion of mine. I shared my life and grew up with them from a very early age, and they taught me so much.

So I went on to do my higher education in Biology, specialising in ethology, in Canada, my home country. I then went on to study mathematics and worked as a maths and science teacher for 20 years.

Finally, when I arrived in Luxembourg, I returned to my first passion: dogs and the study of their behaviour. So I trained as a dog trainer and then as a dog behaviourist with Julie Willems, an ethologist and animal behaviourist, at the Animal Behavior training centre in Belgium.

Since then, I've been determined to provide the most effective and practical solutions to meet the needs of my clients' dogs. My aim is to help them live harmoniously in their environment.

I will help you to solve your dog's training and behavioural problems, whether they are puppies or adults. Whether it's a question of barking, destruction, uncleanliness, aggression, fear, stress or anything else, I use methods that are appropriate, respectful and caring. I speak English and French, and I go directly to your house.

In addition, I regularly organise supervised dog walks for my clients who so wish. These walks provide an opportunity to learn, socialise and exercise, and are much appreciated by all.

Finally, my most loyal and devoted helper, my beloved dog Qiwi, accompanies me on some outdoor consultations. She is excellent in calming and guiding dogs in difficulty.

I'm also lucky enough to be recommended by several veterinarians in Luxembourg.

Qiwi

In my practice as a dog and puppy trainer and dog behaviorist, I'm lucky enough to be accompanied by my dog Qiwi.

Qiwi is my trusty companion during outdoor consultations, where she excels at socializing both puppies and adult dogs who need healthy interaction. Her presence aids in teaching proper canine etiquette and rules to her furry peers. Moreover, her innate calmness and patience prove invaluable in soothing anxious dogs, making her an indispensable partner.

Beyond her work with dogs, Qiwi also lends a paw in assisting people. Whether it's engaging with children in nursery and elementary schools or supporting individuals overcoming dog phobias.

Furthermore, if you're interested in joining one of our complimentary dog walks, Qiwi is always by our side, ready to explore alongside us.
